Each of them carries a mystic key, gifted to them by the Elders, which allows them to open certain doors within Central Interrealmeus and grants access to the dimensions that they supervise. Realm Rangers are chosen from birth to carry out the important duties that the Elders cannot manage alone. Their mothers are whisked away to Central Interrealmeus by magic when their babies’ births near, ensuring that newborn rangers will mature at the rate that the clock turns for Central Interrealmeus, but these chosen few hail from a variety of lands and realms. Thus, Realm Rangers often decorate the chains, cords, or strings that support their portal keys with objects from their homelands or the realms that they oversee.
